SALISBURY — The Harris Teeter grocery store at 850 W. Jake Alexander Blvd. was evacuated Wednesday night after someone called the manager and said he had placed three bombs in the store.
According to Salisbury Police, the call came in about 9:25 p.m. Wednesday. After an extensive search by law enforcement of the store and parking lot, nothing was found.
Bomb-sniffing dogs were brought in from Cabarrus County to aid in the search, police said.
The store returned to normal operations Thursday.
