The IZOD American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Championship at the Club at Irish Creek, will be held in Kannapolis Aug. 17-20.

The event will showcase the talents of many of the Charlotte area’s top, high school golfers. This is the second year Irish Creek has hosted the AJGA Championship Tournament.

The AJGA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the growth and development of young men and

women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships. The AJGA hosts over 100 tournaments per year and

many of the alumni go on to play in the PGA tour.
