The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about multiple car break-ins that occurred last week near Gold Knob Road outside of Rockwell. The Sheriff’s Office began investigations on Oct. 7 after several cars were broken into and had items taken.

A surveillance camera in the neighborhood captured an image of one of the suspects. The suspect can be seen walking up to a parked car and shining a light into the vehicle. The suspect is wearing dark clothes and a hoodie, and according to the report, has an object visible on the ankle.
