Police: Guns, Taser, radio stolen from police car

The Salisbury Police Department says someone stole guns and other property from a police officer’s car on Tuesday.
Salisbury Police Sgt. J. Crews reported the break-in of his police-issued vehicle, the department said in a news release.
Crews indicated that he locks his assigned vehicle when away from it and that he believed it was locked at the time of the theft, according to the news release. The exact location of where this incident occurred is still under investigation.
Stolen from the unmarked police vehicle was a Motorola radio, which has now been disabled from use, a bullet-proof vest, a Taser, a rifle and a handgun.
