Several shots were fired into a house Friday, according to a Salisbury Police report.

Salisbury Police were working at a traffic accident at the 500 block of West Innes Street when an officer reported hearing multiple gunshots at 7:50 p.m.

The sound led officers to the 800 block of West Bank Street where police reported bullet holes and damage to two vehicles parked out front and damage to the front of the house. Several men came from behind the house and told police they believed the shots were aimed at someone who was inside the house at the time. No injuries were reported.

Police say they suspect more than one shooter was involved and report that the incident is still under investigation.
