Crime blotter: Survey equipment stolen from job site

VHB reported traffic survey equipment was stolen from 385 Faith Road sometime between Dec. 9 and Dec. 11 where they were operating near Old Navy. Salisbury Police are looking into the theft.

In other Salisbury Police reports:

• Police respond to CVS Pharmacy Friday where someone tried to purchase a fraudulent prescription at the store 1924 Statesville Boulevard.

• A man reported Friday someone put sugar in his gas tank, which he discovered it after the vehicle broke down near Catawba College.

• Mean Mug Coffee reported Friday someone stole from the building, 1024 South Fulton St.

• A man reported Saturday someone took moped from the 1000 block of Locke Street.

• A man reported Saturday his truck was stolen from the Belk’s parking lot sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 9:55 a.m.

• A woman reported Saturday she was robbed at knife point in the 900 block of Richard Street.

• A man reported Saturday a breaking and entering occurred in the 500 block of Partee Street.

• Police charged Tracey Heffner with possession of drug paraphernalia while in the 400 block of North Shaver and East Cemetery streets.

• Police responded Sunday to a disturbance in the 700 block of Victory Street where they later found illegal narcotics.

• A woman reported Sunday her wallet was stolen from Family Dollar, 410 E. Innes St.

• Tina Mae Morton, 38, was charged Sunday with felony possession of a controlled substance schedule II in the 700 block of Victory Street.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s reports:

• A woman reported Thursday someone took jewelry from her property in the 3800 block of Stokes Ferry Road.

• A woman reported Thursday she was the victim of fraud in the 2600 block of London Road, Mooresville.

• A woman reported Thursday her home was burglarized in the 1000 block of Gaddy Mobile Home Drive, Kannapolis sometime between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• A man reported Thursday someone broke into his home in the 1200 block of Gaddy Mobile Home Drive, Kannapolis.

• Michael Todd Foster, 21, was charged Thursday with felony financial transaction card take/obtain while at the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
