South Rowan FFA Greenhand Degree

At the October FFA meeting, 26 first year FFA members received their Greenhand Degree, which is the first FFA degree a member can achieve.

Gardner-Webb University Announces Honor Roll Recipient from Salisbury

Nate Allman of Salisbury was named to the Gardner-Webb University Honor Roll for the 2015 fall semester. Allman is a sophomore majoring in political science. The Honor Roll is composed of college students with a grade point average of 3.2 to 3.7 through outstanding academic contribution during the semester. The University commends Allman for this significant scholastic achievement in higher education.

Berry College Dean’s List

Meghan Hedgepeth and Sandi Jusic, both of Salisbury, have been named to Berry College’s fall 2015 Dean’s List, according to Provost Kathy Richardson. The Dean’s List honors students who posted an academic average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale while carrying a class load of at least 12 hours during the semester.
