Salisbury man charged with trafficking meth, other drug charges

A Salisbury man faces multiple felony charges after allegedly trafficking 33 grams of methamphetamine.
James Patrick Myers, 44, of the 100 block of Catfish Terrace, Salisbury, was arrested Christmas Day.
Myers is charged with two counts of trafficking methamphetamine, one count of possession of meth, one count of maintaining a vehicle to sell a controlled substance and one count of possessing a controlled substance on jail grounds – all felony charges.
According to arrest records, Myers was found to be in possession of methamphetamine when he arrived at the Rowan County Detention Center.
Myers was also charged with driving with license revoked.
Myers is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under a total bond of $415,000.
His first appearance in District Court is scheduled for Monday.
