Charter school Q and A

The Paul L. Dunbar Charter Organization will be hosting a cookout and question-and-answer session Saturday at 2 p.m. at Southern City AME Zion Church, 940 S. Long St., East Spencer. Meet the board of directors of the proposed East Spencer charter school and ask questions about your child’s education. Hot dogs, sodas and desserts will be served.

Open registration at RCCC

Spring classes begin on Jan. 11, but Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is still accepting students. Credits are $76 per credit hour. Prospective students can apply online at www.rccc.edu/apply2016.
