Crime blotter: Woman charged with cocaine, marijuana possession

Police charged a Salisbury woman and found marijuana, cocaine and cash inside a Clancy Street home after serving a search warrant at the property.

Eugenia Janelle Davis, 38, of the 200 block of Clancy Street, was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Salisbury Police went to the home Monday just after 9:30 a.m. Davis was the only person in the house. When they arrived, she was holding 1.8 grams of crack cocaine, 13.4 grams of marijuana and a black digital scale in her hand.

Investigators searched a bedroom and found a total of $815 and a pink marijuana grinder with two grams of marijuana inside. Police Capt. Shelia Lingle said investigators were led to Davis’ home after buying drugs during undercover operations.

She has been convicted of common law forgery, hit and run, larceny and driving while license revoked. Davis has since been released from the Rowan County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond.

• A man reported Friday someone took items from his unlocked vehicle parked at a business in the 4200 block of South Main Street.

• A man reported Friday he was the victim of a burglary in the 8700 block of Dogwood Drive, Kannapolis.

• A man reported Friday his friend broke into his house and took his 52-inch television and some cash in the 1100 block of Meadowcreek Drive, China Grove.

• Reliable Pawn reported Friday stolen guns were pawn at the business, 107 Mooresville Road.

• A woman reported Saturday she was the victim of a domestic incident in the 1000 block of Westchester Drive, Kannapolis.

• A man reported Saturday a burglary occurred at his home in the 1000 block of Wild Turkey Way.
