Rowan weather: We may see sun today

The freezing rain finally hit Rowan Monday evening, and today, rain is still falling, but we are just at or above the freezing mark in most places.
Rowan-Salisbury Schools are operating on a two-hour delay.
The rain should come to an end this morning and the skies should clear, leading to a surprising high of 54. But winds will blow from the west northwest at 7-11 mph.
Tonight, we have a 30 percent chance of rain after 8 p.m., possibly mixing with snow towards Wednesday morning, Patchy fog is also possible. The low will be 34.
Wednesday should be calm, mostly sunny with a high of 54 and northwest wind at just 3-7 mph. The low will be 30.
Thursday should be sunny with a high near 50 and north wind around 3-7 mph; the low will be 30 again.
The weekend looks amazing, with temperatures in the 60s and sunny skies.
Friday will be sunny and 54 with a low of 42.
Mostly sunny skies for Saturday, with a high of 63 and a low of 43.
Sunday will be partly sunny with a high of 63 again and a low of 48.
Monday, a 30 percent chance of showers creeps in, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 58.
