Hilary H. and Margaret D. Powell Jr. of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Louise Powell, to David Michael Carr, son of Mike and Marlene Carr of Hiddenite.
Mary graduated from Rockwell Christian School and Pfeiffer University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. She is project administrator for Salisbury Community Development Corporation.
David graduated from Central High School in Brooksville, Fla. He is completing his Associate’s degree in Integrated Technology and is employed for Davidson County 911 as a Telecommunicator.
The wedding is March 5 at New Hope Baptist Church.
