Do you know a Good Samaritan? The Civitan Club of Salisbury is seeking nominations for the Civitan Good Samaritan of the Year award.

Nominations will be accepted through April 7 and the award will be presented on April 14.

The Civitan Good Samaritan Award has been presented annually since 1973. It is designed to recognize and honor individuals who have exhibited the characteristics of the biblical Good Samaritan in recognizing a need and responding to it with compassion and assistance.

To submit a nomination, write a letter about the person, describing his or her deeds, but do not include the person’s name. Attach a cover letter telling the nominee’s name, your name, address, telephone number and email address, if appropriate.
