Bridges ~ Morris Engagement

- Megan Michelle Bridges and Roger Burton “Bubba” Morris
Randy and Dana Abernathy of Cherryville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Michelle Bridges to Roger Burton “Bubba” Morris, son of Johnny and Delores Morris of Spencer.
Megan graduated from Cherryville High School and received her nursing degree from Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She is currently employed as a nurse at Forsyth Hospital in Winston-Salem.
Bubba graduated from North Rowan High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Catawba College and was a member of the Catawba baseball team all four years. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Catawba Chief’s Club. He is employed as a teacher in the Rowan-Salisbury School System and coaches basketball and baseball at North Rowan High School.
Megan is the granddaughter of Glenn and Linda Anthony and Inez Bridges of Cherryville.
Bubba is the grandson of Floyd M. and the late Dot Burton and the late Johnny R. Morris Sr. and Mary Lou Price.
The wedding will be held at Saratoga Springs on May 21, 2016.
