ROCKWELL —  Powles Staton Funeral Home will offer military veterans a free lunch and shoeshine Tuesday during its “Veteran Appreciation Day.”

The event will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home, located at 913 W. Main St., Rockwell. Those attending also can register to win a grill.

The funeral home is affiliated with Veterans Funeral Care and also offers “Retire Your Flag with Honor” and “Operation Toy Soldier” programs.
