Rowan weather: Showers and storms

The torrential rain started about 6:15 and comes and goes, which indicates how the day will be.

We have an 80 percent chance of rain — or 100 depending on where you are. Some of the showers will turn into thunderstorms, and some of those storms will have frequent lightning and heavy downpours. A few thunderstorms could become severe and produce hail and damaging winds.

Warmer Monday, with sunny skies and a high of 82. The low will be 59.

Tuesday will be sunny and 85, getting quite warm. The low will be 61.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 83, with a low of 61 again.

And Thursday brings a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, but will be partly sunny and 83.
