“Choose Your Own Adventure” workshop
Published 12:00 am Sunday, April 24, 2016
On Monday, April 25, from 5:30-7 p.m., Rowan Public Library will host “Choose Your Own Adventure,” the fourth workshop in the 2016 Learn. Act. Grow. series.
Adventure is a lifestyle choice, a commitment made to find inspiration and purpose in everything — whether on top of a mountain or a page in a book. Everyone needs adventure, whether big or small, physical or mindful. Living each day with intention, focus and joy is no small feat. Local fitness expert, author and adventurer David Freeze will discuss the psychological and physiological benefits to adding adventure to your life while offering encouragement and planning tips for adventures, local and beyond.
Held at Rowan County Public Library headquarters, 201 W. Fisher Street, there is no charge to participate. Free healthy snacks and bottled water will be provided. Door prizes will also be given away. Registration is advised to hold your place. Visit www.rowanpubliclibrary.org or call 704-216-7841.
