Rowan weather: Stormy weekend

Some folks saw a little rain yesterday, while others didn’t even get a sprinkle. We have another chance tomorrow, Sunday and Monday, then a lesser chance Tuesday and Wednesday.
Today you might see a little fog before 9, but it will be sunny with a high of 83. Northwest winds blow around 6 mph this afternoon. Tonight’s low will be 59.
Saturday has a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon, and will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 76. The chance of rain is 50 percent, with east northeast wind around 7 mph. Only about a tenth of an inch is expected.
Saturday night has a 70 percent chance of showers and storms after 11 p.m., with a low of 62. East southeast wind will be around 8 mph. Expected between a quarter and half an inch or rain.
Sunday, too, has a 70 percent chance of showers and storms, and will be cloudy with a high of 78. Winds will shift to the south at 5-8 mph. The chance of rain decreases to 60 percent Sunday night, with a low of 62.
Some of the storms Saturday and Sunday could become severe, with high winds, frequent lightning and a chance of hail.
Monday has a 40 percent chance of showers, with partly sunny skies and a high of 78. A 30 percent chance of showers for Monday night, with a low of 54.
And a 30 percent chance of showers Tuesday, with partly sunny skies and a high of 72. The chance of rain goes up to 40 percent Tuesday night, with a low of 53.
Even Wednesday has a 30 percent chance of showers, with more partly sunny skies and a high near 73. No rain Wednesday night, with a low again of 53.
Thursday looks to be mostly sunny with a high of 72.
