SALISBURY — Book lovers flocked to Rowan Public Library’s annual book sale this morning.

Boxes and boxes of books filled tables in the Hurley and Stanback rooms of the library, located at 201 W. Fisher St.

Divided into fiction and nonfiction, the books cost $2 or less. Today’s price is $2 for hardcover, $1 for soft cover and 50 cents small paperbacks. Children’s books are $1 for hardcover and 50 cents for softcover.

On Saturday, the books will all be $1 or less. On Monday, if any books are left, the charge will be $1 per bag.

Audiobooks, DVDs and CDs are also on sale.

Hours for the sale are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
