Rowan weather: Another bad air day

An air quality alert is in effect from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. The code orange alert is for ground level ozone, which may exceed unhealthy standards.
People with asthma or other lung diseases, heart disease, as well as older adults and children should limit prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.
Although we’ve had a cool start to the day, it’s going to heat up, with high humidity levels. It will be sunny and 87, with calm wind becoming east northeast at 5-7 mph.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of 66.
Then the heat will be on for most, if not all of the next few days, with the weekend period being the hottest.
Saturday will be mostly sunny and 93. West southwest wind will blow at 3-6 mph. Saturday night will be mostly clear and 71, with very muggy conditions. Southwest wind around 6 mph in the evening.
Sunday will be extremely hot, with a high of 95 under sunny skies. There will be a little west northwest wind at 5-9 mph. The low will again be a sticky 71.
Monday does not offer any relief, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 92. The low will be 69.
Tuesday will be hotter, with a high of 93 and a low of just 72.
The atmosphere becomes a bit more unstable Wednesday, bringing a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will still be very hot, with a high of 93 under partly sunny skies. The 30 percent chance of rain sticks around Wednesday night, with a low of 71.
Thursday brings a 40 percent chance of showers, and will be partly sunny and 91.
