SALISBURY — No one was injured during an early morning shooting Thursday at Lakewood Apartment homes, but bullets did hit several apartment units, police officials said.

The shooting occurred just after 1 a.m. at the complex, located at Lakewood Drive, off Statesville Boulevard. Salisbury Police officers spent hours at the complex working to determine what happened.

Two parties were shooting at each other, Capt. Shelia Lingle said.

Bullets struck the 700, 800 and 900 buildings. No arrest has been made and police have not yet released a motive.
