SALISBURY — Rowan County Sheriff’s investigators are looking for a man who used a cement block to break into a South Main Street convenience store. The incident occurred July 8 at Mikey’s One Stop, officials said.
The store’s surveillance system captured a white man wearing a sun visor hat, dressed in shorts, a dark T-shirt and flip flops. The man had short hair, appeared to be in his mid- to late-20s and authorities say had an “average” build.
The suspect took items and left before deputies arrived at the store, located at 5810 S. Main St.
Anyone with information about the identity of this suspect is asked to contact Lt. Chad Moose at 704-216-8687 or Detective Travis Allen at 704-216-8715.
