Rowan Little League softball team (11-12 year olds) went 3-0 in the state tournament at Myers Park Trinity Little League  Complex in Charlotte. This is the age group that won the 2015 World Series last August.

The team defeated Wilkes County, 6-0, in the state finals and begin defense of its Southeast Regional title today in
Warner Robins, Ga.
