Darrell Harwood will give a concert to benefit Special Olympics athletes and others with intellectual disabilities on Sunday, Aug. 7 from 5-7 p.m.

The event is at the West End Plaza Event Center, 1935 Jake Alexander Blvd. The concert is free, but a ticket is required for admission. Concessions and souvenirs will be on sale.
