SALISBURY — The Salisbury Community Appearance Commission is now taking applications for the Municipal Service District Incentive Grant and the Innes Street Improvement Grant program.

Property may be eligible for one of these competitive matching grants if it is located within the Municipal Service District or if it is on the Innes Street corridor.  Eligible owners or tenants may apply for matching grants for improvements to the exterior of their properties.

Applications may be submitted to the Community Planning Services office at 217 S. Main St.  Applications will be accepted throughout the year as long as funds remain. Only new projects which have not yet begun will be considered, and all projects must be completed by May 30, 2017.

For an application and guidelines for either grant program, contact the city of Salisbury at 704 638-5242 or dmogh@salisburync.gov.
