INDIANAPOLIS — Dean Green hit a run-scoring single in the ninth inning to lead the Toledo Mud Hens to a 6-5 win over the Indianapolis Indians on Monday.
Former East Rowan star Bobby Parnell (2-1) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief.

Intimidators roll
HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Danny Mendick, Alex Call and Zach Remillard each had three hits, as the Kannapolis Intimidators beat the Hagerstown Suns 8-4 on Monday.
Cody Daily hit an RBI double, while Micker Adolfo hit a two-run home run in the ninth.
Mike Morrison (1-2) got the win in relief.

Rowan Little League fall baseball and softball registrations are at Godley’s Garden Center on Statesville Boulevard through Saturday, Sept. 3.

Baseball is $40 for all leagues. Leagues offered are T-Ball (ages 3-6), Coach Pitch (ages 7-8), B League (ages 9-10) and A League (ages 11-12).
Girls softball is $40 for all leagues.
