A very small chance of showers and storms has crept into Saturday’s forecast, but that’s it for rain for the next week.

Today will be mostly sunny and 89 with calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph. Tonight, patchy fog may develop. It will be partly cloudy with a low of 69.

Friday morning may see some lingering fog, but will turn mostly sunny with a hot high of 92 — it’s August after all. Mostly calm winds will become north northwest around 5 mph. The low will be 71.

Saturday has that 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. It will be mostly sunny and 92 again, with east northeast wind at 5-7 mph. Saturday night will be partly cloudy, with a low of 72.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and 90, with a clear night and a low of 71.

Monday will be pretty much the same, mostly sunny and 90, with a low of 70.

No change for Tuesday — mostly sunny and 90 with a low of 71.

Guess what? Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 90, too.
