In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • A woman at Sheetz on S. Jake Alexander Blvd. told police that someone took a tablet from the dining area Wednesday.
  • A larceny was reported Wednesday at Day Mark.
  • A woman reported a stolen vehicle Wednesday in the 200 block of S. Merritt Ave.
  • A woman reported items stolen from a vehicle Wednesday in the 800 block of N. Lee St.
  • The Pop Shoppe on W. Innes Street reported that two cartons of cigarettes were stolen Thursday.
  • A man reported items stolen from a motor vehicle in the 100 block of Eaman Ave. on Thursday.
  • The Ruscho Market on S. Jake Alexander Boulevard reported Thursday that someone stole two cartons of Newport cigarettes and four lottery tickets.
  • A man reported that he was shot with a BB gun Thursday in the 700 block of W. Kerr St.
  • Thompson Building Wrecking reported items stolen from an unlocked truck Thursday in the 300 block of Bendix Dr.
  • Items were reported stolen Thursday from a car in the 200 block of Faith Road.
  • A man reported the theft of a mo-ped Thursday in the 600 block of E. Monroe St.
  • Bottom Dollar in the 100 block of N. Long St. reported items stolen from a vehicle Thursday. The complainant told police he had an altercation with an auto sales company over a vehicle on his property, and alleged that they took a package of packing blankets and scratched his tow truck.
  • Police recovered a stolen mo-ped Thursday in the 100 block of Lash Drive.
  • McDonald’s on East Innes St. reported a counterfeit bill Thursday.
  • A man in the 600 block of E. Lafayette St. reported a breaking and entering and larceny Thursday.
  • Police seized drugs Friday in the 100 block of E. Kerr Street.
  • Police seized a plastic bag of heroin Friday in the 700 block of S. Jake Alexander Blvd.
  • Erica Lynn Smith, 30, was charged Wednesday with child abuse in the 1200 block of Brenner Ave.
  • Benton Rick Whitaker, 26, was charged Thursday in the 300 block of Mitchell Ave. with resist, delay and obstructing a public officer.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • A man reported an assault Wednesday.
  • A man reported a burglary Wednesday in the 2100 block of Airport Road.
  • A man reported Wednesday that his identity had been used by someone in Tennessee.
  • Dustin Roger Warren, 28, was charged Wednesday with possession of drug paraphernalia in the 400 block of Daugherty Road, China Grove.
  • Steven Ryan Peoples, 30, was charged Wednesday with breaking and entering a building in the 4400 block of Cauble Road.
  • Brian Charles Chiccarello, 48, was charged Wednesday with child neglect in the 6800 block of Unity Church Road, Kannapolis.
  • Crystal Michelle Jones, 31, was charged Wednesday with resist, delay or obstructing a public officer in the 6800 block of Unity Church Road, Kannapolis.
  • Dale Robert Smith, 24, was charged Wednesday with possession of a schedule VI controlled substance in the 81000 block of Interstate 85 N.
  • Alfred Jerome Glascoe, 37, was charged Wednesday with resist, delay or obstructing a public officer in the 2900 block of N. Main St., Kannapolis.
  • Dante Marquies Mitchell, 26 was charged Wednesday with resist, delay or obstructing a public officer in the 1000 block of Mean Lane after he hid from deputies underneath a crib.
