Life Church, 708 Jake Alexander Blvd. West, will be hosting a special service for the entire community to honor, encourage and pray for members of our local law enforcement on Thursday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m.
Our law enforcement officers are under more scrutiny, stress, pressure, and quite literally, under more fire than ever before. As members of both the local community and the body of Christ, we are called to go to those in need and offer assistance, comfort, support and encouragement, especially among those in public service.
Our hope is to offer a night of encouragement to these men and women who daily serve our community. The evening will include:
• A speaker familiar with the day-to-day challenges of public law enforcement;
• A time of prayer, specifically asking for God’s guidance and protection over the lives of our officers, their families, and our community;
• Light refreshments following the service.
We invite all members of the law enforcement community, their families, and our entire community to join us for this opportunity to support those who put the lives of others before themselves daily.
