SALISBURY — Salisbury Police say they’ve made another arrest in the attempted robbery of Village Inn Pizza. A third person has turned himself in, officials said.

Police charged Tyree Dashon Stiller, 22, of the 100 block of Newsome Road, with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was arrested Thursday at the Salisbury Police Department. Stiller is being held in the Rowan County jail under a $75,000 secured bond.

Police say Stiller, Shybious Montreal Duncan, and another man went into Village Inn Pizza on Statesville Boulevard the night of Aug. 31. The third suspect has not been arrested.

Three masked men walked into the restaurant through the back door. The men demanded employees open the safe. When employees couldn’t open the safe, the men tried to pry it open. Police said one employee was pistol whipped.

Duncan, 22, of Charlotte, was charged with felony attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon. Police arrested him Wednesday at a Clancy Street apartment. He had been staying at the apartment.

He remains in the Rowan County jail under a $25,000 secured bond. A woman was also charged in the incident.

Police say Brittany Dannyelle Dalton, 23, was charged with felony accessory after the fact. Officials say she turned herself in at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office Wednesday night. She has since been released from the county jail under a $5,000 secured bond.

The would-be robbers ordered the employees on the floor and one of them had a gun, Police Capt. Shelia Lingle has said.

Lingle said detectives conducted lots of interviews until they were able to determine a suspect.
