Rowan weather: Another chance of rain today

We have more chance of rain today and tomorrow, but the weekend looks great. Happy Hump Day.

Today, there might be some patchy fog before 10 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 80. There’s a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a tenth to a quarter inch of rain possible; higher in thunderstorms. Winds will be south southwest at 5-7 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight’s chance of rain is 40 percent, with showers and thunderstorms possible. Patchy fog will form between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. The low will be 61, with south wind at 3-6 mph. Another tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.

Thursday has a 40 percent of showers, with thunderstorms possible after 10 a.m. It will be partly sunny and 80, with calm wind in the morning becoming south at 5-7 mph in the afternoon.

Thursday night has a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low of 56. East northeast wind around 5 mph will calm after midnight.

Then there’s not a word about rain from Friday through Tuesday.

Friday will be sunny and 76, with south southwest wind around 5-7 mph. The low will be 53 under mostly clear skies.

Saturday will be sunny and 78. The low will be 56.

Sunday will be sunny and 81, with a low of 58.

Monday will be mostly sunny and 81 again. The low will be 60.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and 80.
