Blotter: Davidson County man charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon

SALISBURY — A Davidson County man was charged Friday with robbery using a dangerous weapon.
Police reports say Joshua Brandon Strickland, 31, conspired with another man to rob a Walgreens on Jake Alexander Boulevard West.
Strickland used the threat of a knife to steal 2,152 dosage units of oxycodone, valued at $2,214.02, from the Walgreens.
Along with the robbery charge, Strickland was also charged by the Salisbury Police Department with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Strickland was issued a $50,000 bond and held at the Rowan County Detention Center.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:
- Katelyn Gail Russell, 20, of Salisbury, was charged Friday with simple assault.
- Tristan Nicole Bradshaw, 28, of Salisbury, was charged Friday with two counts of misdemeanor child abuse.
- Connie Lynn Poss, 18, of Kannapolis, was charged Saturday with possession of stolen goods or property.
In other reports:
- Cameron Latrell Moody, 23, of Salisbury, was charged Saturday with possession of a controlled substance in a prison or jail and charged Saturday with resisting a public officer.
