Rowan County and most of the rest of the state is under a freeze watch from late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

Cold air, light winds and a high pressure area will combine to bring temperatures below the freezing mark, into the 20s.

A freeze watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible. These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.  Time to move plants indoors.

The predicted low will be 25 degrees, but temperatures will rise Sunday to a high of 61.
