SALISBURY — Salisbury Police reported that there were no injuries in a shots-fired incident Monday evening.
A man told police that Monday at about 7:30 p.m. he was driving with his girlfriend and a young child up Horah Street. As the car neared Lloyd Street, he said he heard shots coming from two different directions. The car, caught in the crossfire, was struck by a bullet which shattered a back passenger window. The man told police that the child was seated in the back seat at the time.
The man kept driving, and pulled into the Sonic on West Innes to call police. Bullet casings were found on Lloyd Street, police spokeswoman Shelia Lingle said.
