Man wanted in Enochville robbery

SALISBURY — The Rowan County Sheriff’s office is looking for a 32-year-old Salisbury man in connection to an Enochville robbery.
According to a press release, deputies responded Wednesday to Ron’s Quick Grocery in Enochville. At about 8:15 p.m., a man detectives believe to be Bryan Williams Gibson entered the store wearing a hoodie. The release said that the man had his hand inside his pockets, “as if holding a weapon,” and demanded money. Images released to the public helped identify the man as Gibson.
The Sheriff’s Office obtained arrest warrants for Gibson for felony robbery and he is listed as wanted in the National Crime Information Center. Detectives also made contact with Kannapolis Police, who obtained an arrest warrant for Gibson in relation to a larceny from a Kannapolis Family Dollar.
Gibson has previously been charged in Rowan County with larceny, felony larceny, felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and obtaining property by false pretense. He has been charged in Cabarrus County with larceny of a motor vehicle, wanton injury to personal property and larceny.
