Sunday, Dec. 18 at 5 p.m.
Each December the Jubilee Community Choir presents a musical message in celebration of the birth of Jesus, This year’s concert features an opening reading by the Rev. Dr. Ethel Bamberg-Revis.
We cordially invite you to meet us at the Soldiers Memorial AME Zion Church on Sunday, Dec. 18 at 5 p.m. to celebrate.
This Christmas concert retells the story of Jesus’ birth in a lowly stable because there was no room in the inn. It is about the good news of the birth of one baby boy who later died to provide eternal life to all believers.
The members of Jubilee represent area churches of various denominations in Greensboro and Winston-Salem. They are Methodist. Presbyterian, AME Zion, Episcopal. Lutheran, Baptist and Jewish. Our common thread is music!
We are blessed to be able to enjoy the musical talents of local artists and musicians such as Doris Goodman, Monica Green, Phyllis Partee and Rebeca Stinson, who are also members of the Jubilee Community Choir.
We invite you to join the Jubilee Community Choir as we, in song, celebrate Christmas. This is a free public concert, bu we ask that you contribute generously to a free will offering.
A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
Kay Wright Norman is the music director, assisted by Phyllis Partee. The Rev. Dr. Derrick Anderson is host pastor of Soldiers Memorial AME Zion Church.
