KANNAPOLIS — Rowan County officials have added a Salisbury man to its most wanted list who they say is accused of a robbery at Ron’s Quick Grocery a week ago.
Investigators are looking for Bryan Williams Gibson, 32, on felony robbery charges. The robbery occurred Dec. 7 at the store, located at 418 S. Enochville Ave., at 8:15 p.m.
A man walked into the store wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, with his hand in his pockets, “as if holding a weapon,” and demanded money, authorities said.
Store surveillance video was released and responses from the public led investigators to identify Gibson.
Through the course of this investigation, detectives made contact with Kannapolis Police, who also had an arrest warrant for Gibson for a larceny from Family Dollar in Kannapolis.
Gibson is 6 foot 2 inches tall and weighs 250 pounds. He is last known to be in Salisbury and Kannapolis.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Travis Zimmerman (704) 216-8706, Lt. Chad Moose (704) 216-8687 or Crime Stoppers 1-866-639-5245.
