SALISBURY – The Rowan County Chamber of Commerce’s State Legislative Breakfast will be held in conjunction with the Power in Partnership (PIP) breakfast on Thursday, Jan. 19, 7:30 a.m. at Trinity Oaks at 728 Klumac Road.

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is the co-sponsor of the January PIP/State Legislative Breakfast.

All four State Legislators that cover Rowan County plan to attend:

• Sen. Andrew Brock
• Sen. Tom McInnis
• Rep. Carl Ford
• Rep. Harry Warren

The dates for the remaining 2017 PIP series are:

• Feb. 16 – Henning Bruns, Daimler Trucks North America
• March 16 – Agri-business
• April 20 – Healthcare
• May 18 – Leadership Rowan Graduation

The chamber’s breakfast series averaged over 150 attendees each month during its last three seasons. The PIP series is bringing top notch speakers to the community and providing high level networking opportunities.

Sponsors have the exclusive marketing rights to the banquet room and provide a five minute sponsor profile on their company. Partner agencies will share updates with the local business leaders and address issues of concern for the entire region.

The Leadership Rowan Class will start their day at the breakfast and then venture out for each day’s session focused on a different aspect of the community.

If you are interested in obtaining a Power Card, please make your reservation by Jan. 17. The Power Card is the Rowan Chamber’s frequent attender program. You receive a discounted price for the series and do not have to make a reservation each month. The cost is $60 for members and $150 for non-members.

If you are not a Power Card holder, individual reservations are welcome; however, the reservation deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 17 by 5 p.m. The cost is $15 for members and $25 for non-members. The price includes the cost of breakfast and the program.
