J. Kendall Ponds graduated from Wake Forest University. He received a Master of Business Administration and was the team winner of the Bimtech International Case Compeition of 2016 in New Delhi, India. He was a 2006 Honor Graduate of East Rowan High School, received his Associate of Arts degree from Rowan Cabarrus Community in 2010, and received his Bachelor of Business from Catawba College in 2012.

Kendall is currently employed at BB&T as a Commerical Fulfillment QA Specialist 1.

Kendall is the son of Sy and Jo Ponds, of Salisbury.
