In Salisbury Police Department reports:

• A man reported items stolen from a vehicle parked on Water Street on Monday.
• Residents of the 500 block of South Shaver Street reported shots fired from a vehicle Monday. Witnesses reported seeing a white Volvo and a Pontiac passenger car. Spent casings were found in the area.
• James Leroy Jiles, 61, was charged Monday with misdemeanor child abuse.

• A woman reported fraud in the 100 block of Dogwood Drive, China Grove, on Friday.
• Pearls Pawn and Gun in the 1500 block of North Main Street, China Grove, reported fraud by obtaining property by false pretense Friday.
• A man reported a fraud Saturday in the 100 block of Rock Olive Drive, Rockwell.
• A man reported a burglary Saturday in the 100 bock of Blevins Lane.
• A woman reported Sunday that items were stolen from her car in the 100 block of Shadow Creek Trail.
