Blotter: Woman charged with stealing, using her fiance’s mother’s debit card

SALISBURY — Authorities say a Salisbury woman was charged Tuesday with identity theft after she stole and used a debit card belonging to her fiance’s mother.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office charged Olivia Paige Peterson, 25, of the 1100 block of South Castleview Road, with four counts of felony identity theft.
Officials said Peterson used the debit card to make 45 online purchases totaling $1,500 on Amazon.com in June and July.
She was issued a $5,000 secured bond and was released from the Rowan County Detention Center.
In other Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:
• A woman reported Tuesday a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Johnson Dairy Road, Rockwell.
• Cathy Julian Shehan, 55, was charged Tuesday with felony obtaining property by false pretenses in the 100 block of Hubert Lane.
• Jamie Lee Wilson, 22, was charged Tuesday with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance Schedule IV in the 1800 block of Liberty Road, Gold Hill.
• Kenneth Stuart Hollman, 55, was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun in the 800 block of West Jake Alexander Boulevard.
• Lerenzo Harris, 34, was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI in the 100 block of Lake Farm Drive.
• Jordan Taylor Mays, 22, was charged Tuesday with felony breaking and entering in the 600 block of Blue Heron Road.
In Salisbury police reports:
• A man reported Wednesday that a heat pump was stolen in the 1200 block of Glenwood Avenue.
• Alton Lee Speight, 24, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana in the 1500 block of West Innes Street.
