Police: Domestic disturbance leaves one dead late Friday

SALISBURY — Authorities say a domestic disturbance ended with one person dead late Friday night.
Salisbury Police were called to 312 Oakwood Ave. for a domestic situation. While en route, officers learned that shots were fired and CPR was being performed on a victim.
Police say Demareo O’Bryan Bost, 28, of East Spencer, died at the scene. Police officials have provided no other details. This is the first city homicide of the year. Members of the family declined to comment for the story.
Salisbury Police are investigating, with the assistance of the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and the State Bureau of Investigations.
