Jimmy Gearl Richardson and Mary Ina Greene Richardson of Rockwell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary March 11, 2017 at Morgan Ridge Vineyards with their children and their families. Their children and grandchildren gifted them a trip to the Omni Grove Park Inn, Asheville.

The Richardsons were united in marriage March 11, 1967 at Sardis United Methodist Church in Candor. Jimmy retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. Mary is a homemaker.

The couple have two children, Christopher Mark Richardson and wife Melissa Walden Richardson and Holly Richardson Almond and husband Jonathan Frank Almond. They also have four grandchildren, Dalton Gentry Richardson, Elena Gabriel Richardson, Riley Noelle Almond and Jonah Landry Almond.
