No serious injuries were reported Saturday afternoon in an Interstate 85 wreck involving a Honda Civic and a pickup truck pulling a small trailer.

The accident happened close to 2 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-85, just south of the Peach Orchard Road overpass.

A woman passenger in the pickup was taken to the hospital for neck and back injuries. The Honda Civic’s driver was OK, although his car looked to have rolled over before coming to rest on its wheels in a grassy area off the highway.

The car ended up facing in the opposite direction. South Salisbury Fire Department responded along with Rowan County EMS. The State Highway Patrol investigated.
