SALISBURY — A Salisbury man is charged with a felony sex offense after an SBI investigation showed he possessed what appeared to be nude images of a child.

The State Bureau of Investigation Computer Crimes Division charged Dakotah Eugene Munson, 24, of the 1800 block of Scout Road, with felony third-degree sex exploitation of a minor.

According to an arrest warrant, which was served by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, Munson had a video of an unknown male who was between 12 and 15 years old engaged in sexual activity.

Munson could face other charges.
