Salisbury post office to mark 225th anniversary

SALISBURY – The Postal Service will host an event on Friday, June 23, to celebrate the 225th anniversary of the Salisbury Post Office. The public is invited to attend the event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Post Office located at 605 E. Innes St.

“We are grateful to have been part of the Salisbury community for the past 225 years and look forward to serving our customers each day,” said Salisbury Officer-In-Charge Alyssa Dixon. “While we take time to celebrate our longstanding history in Salisbury, we are just as excited to talk about the great services and innovative features offered by the Postal Service today.”
