Honeycutt 50th Anniversary

Tommy Washington Honeycutt and Brenda Sue Styers Honeycutt of China Grove celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 24, 2017. They toured the Henry Ford Museum in Michigan and The Ark Encounter in Kentucky last month to celebrate, and were honored with a reception for friends and family that was hosted by their children.
The Honeycutts were united in marriage on June 24, 1967 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ by the Rev. Ermine Plott in China Grove. Tommy was a truck driver for over 50 years and retired from Tidewater Transit, and Brenda was a Sales Assistant at Pillowtex in Kannapolis until 2003 and then retired from Select Customer Insurance Agency in Salisbury.
Their children are Clint and wife Becky Honeycutt of Carlsbad, Calif., and Tonya and husband DJ Elium of Jesup, Ga. They have six grandchildren, Trey, Cole, Lane, and Taegan Elium and Kaylie and Macy Honeycutt.
