Novant Health Rowan Medical Center

SALISBURY — A new electric car charging station has been added to the first level of Novant Health Rowan Medical Center’s parking deck. This is the first electric car charging station at the hospital.

“We are always looking for new and innovative ways to serve our patients,” said Dari Caldwell, president, Rowan Medical Center. “More people are driving electric cars. Offering the charging station is one way we can make visiting our facility easier and more convenient.”

The hospital does not charge individuals to use the car charging stations, and it is available for use by all patients, visitors and team members.

“Rowan Medical Center is one of the largest organizations and employers in the county,” Caldwell said. “And, as such, we seek to be a good steward of the environment by offering green initiatives.”
