F&M Bank offers $500 reward in robbery

SALISBURY — F&M Bank is offering a $500 reward for the arrest and conviction of the man who robbed a Salisbury branch Thursday morning.
A black man walked into the bank at 630 W. Jake Alexander Blvd. about 10:30 a.m. Thursday and gave a note to a teller demanding money. The teller gave him money, Salisbury police officials said, and the man took the note back and left on foot.
He is believed to have been driving a white four-door Crown Victoria that was headed toward Mooresville Road. He was seen wearing a black V-neck T-shirt, black baseball cap, black sunglasses, white jeans and white shoes.
