SALISBURY — On Friday, Lt. Gov. Dan Forest is scheduled to make two stops in Rowan County.
The visits will be at West Rowan High School and the Salisbury Kiwanis Club, said Forest’s press secretary, Jamey Falkenbury.
Forest, a Republican, has served as North Carolina’s lieutenant governor since 2013.
Forest’s visit to West Rowan High is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. It will include a tour of the school.
The Salisbury Kiwanis Club meeting is scheduled at noon at the Country Club of Salisbury. Falkenbury said there’s no particular topic for Forest’s speech there. It will be a general discussion of what’s happening in Raleigh.
People who are not members of the Salisbury Kiwanis Club and want to attend the meeting should contact a member of the club, according to the club.
